Thanks. You are right. The subtitle file is nothing more than a text file. Maybe we should add this instruction to the FAQ. Thanks again!!

there is a way to attach the subtitle to video:
1. download the video player: MPC (Media Player Classic)
2. open notepad.exe
3. copy the subtitle from web to notepad, such as:

Fine, this is the first lecture in MIT's course 18. 06, linear algebra.

00:00:13,040 --> 00:00:20,480
And, I'm Gilbert Strang, the text for the course, is this book

4. save as **.srt file(the ** equals the name of the video)
5. put the .srt file in the same file with the video file
6. using MPC to play the video file, the subtitle should be showed on the bottom.
